Hi Chris, I love the sustainable modular design. Can you please add me to the email newsletter list. I come from a corporate background with a frustrated architectural passion. I retrained as a cabinet maker and now estimating for a furniture manufacturer. I commence building design studies at TAFE next year. Where are you based? Just love the passion! Loved watching the Grand Designs about your amazing home, was fabulous. Get in touch if you're ever in Sydney we should have a wine and discuss.
Hi Chris-I saw your beautiful house on Grand designs. I am a Melbourne based abstract painter and would like to know more about the artist who painted the large piece for your house- I believe it was your uncle? Can you tell me his name so I can expose myself to more of his outstanding work please?
Watched Grand Designs , love the pad. Also live in Melbourne, looking for a piece of land to build and would like to pick your brain on something similar to yours . Maybe even get you to project manage...
It was inspiring to see your masterpiece, 'Calligne II' on G.D. Australia. As a green roof consultant and writer, I was particularly interested in the rooftop greening elements of your design. I appreciate you're a busy man, however if you have time to arrange a 20 minute phone call to discuss the project and potentially set up a time for a professional photographer to come with me, have a bit more of a chat and take some photos for a book I'm working on, that would be ace.
I enjoyed watching the rebuild of "Callinge 2" it was so heartwarming.
All the very best for you and your family.
Hi Chris. My friends and I just stayed in Callignee II a week ago and it was a wonderful experience. Even though there are some changes to the home from the Grand Designs filming (I understand the property belongs to a new family), the essential wonder, strength and brutal beauty is still moving. We have so many questions!! Would love to ask them. Hope all is well with you.
Welcome guys, looking forward to cool properties & hope this blog adds to our new design concepts
